Hi,
My 485 was filed in Dec 2001 & got my EAD in March 02. I am working in a software consulting company which i would have to leave in end March 2003. They are not laying me off but asking me resign as they have no funds for new projects.. They have promised that they will help me in any GC process if reqd..I have an extended H1 but I plan to join a company in April where I will have to work on EAD only. I spoke to my lawyer & she says the moment you start working on EAD with another company u need to inform INS about working on EAD and she says I will have an RFE or an GC interview for sure...
I would request people who have started working on EAD after 180 days or who got their GC after switching their jobs & worked on EAD.....Did they have an RFE, did they inform INS about job change (is it reqd) and lastly was their an interview/problems for them......
would appreciate your cooments...
