Hello
I have been a landed immigrant for 3 yrs 9 months. I completed my 1095 days in May 2005 and applied for citizenship in May 2005. I received an acknowlegdement letter dated June 30, 2005.
My husband (who is not a Canadian citizen) has moved to Miami for work reasons. I do not want to jeopardize my citizenship application and am not planning on moving until my citizenship comes through.
My question is: I was planning on sending an addendum to my application to request and expedited processing service with my husband's job as the primary reason. I wanted to attach his letter of employment and our marriage license to support that appeal. Will sending those documents make any difference?
Will the CIS suspect that I am leaving Canada and therefore not grant me citizenship on that basis?
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
