Leave US and still get GC?

My RD is Sept 2002. If I were to quit my job and return to India, is there any way I can still get the GC? My employer will be willing help me as much as possible - except continue to pay me after I quit or do anything illegal.

Have been contemplating something similar. In fact, my GC sponsoring employer is interested in relocating me abroad for a few years.

Any thoughts on how to carry on the GC process if one leaves the country. Can one abandon AOS and switch to CP.

GC is for future employment

if you r going to work for sponcering employer, there shoudn't be a problem.
They sometimes ask about tax return though..
