I'm planning to get married in few months, when I checked this forum it looks like chennai consulate is very strict about checking the difference between LCA and W2 amount. Is this still continuing to everyone? or randomly being asked?
Actually out of 5 years in US I was in bench only for one month and that too was in leave of absence but my employer paid my salary spliting into rent and other expenses, directly depositing the amount in bank and not generating paystubs for few months. I got frustrated and changed the employer 2 years back. Out of 5 years, 2004 - is good, 2003 - is good, 2002 - combined total of salary, advance paid and rent equals to 42 but less than w2, 2001 - is ok, 2000 - very less than LCA...
Anyone faced this situation and got solved, if so please post your experience and give some hope for guys like me! if i couldn't able to get a way looks like i may fed up of marriage :-(
