So it is H1b renewal time for me. Company is going by the book (which is good) and has posted LCA notice on notice board - intent to hire foreign worker blah blah.
What surprised me was this also includes salary of the position. My title is kinda unique (i.e.no one else in the company has that job title) so co-workers who go through this will understand it is for my position and what I am making.
Not a big deal - but company also has a policy that asking someone's salary in the company is a fireable offense, so I think that is kinda contradictory when they post my salary on notice board.
So my question is - what exactly should be put on notice board when you hire a foreign worker? Should the salary being offered a mandatory requirement?
