I am working for a consulting firm in NJ and they have placed me in a company at Chicago for 3 months project. My current H1 is for the consulting firm in NJ and an LCA for NJ. Now my employer wants to pay me according to the prevailing wage at Chicago. So is it enough that I get a new LCA for Chicago? After getting the new LCA should I apply for a new H1 or just make changes to the current H1 or does the H1 remain the same and no changes to be made to it?
Has anybody been though this situation? Can someone clarify my question.
