LCA and H1-B visa

Initially I was on F-1 student visa and almost at the end of my OPT (practical training) term, I got a job who did my H1-B visa. Before expiration of my OPT, I got I-797 approval along with I-94 from BCIS. But my company didn't give me the copy of LCA 9035. So, I asked for it and then company mailed me the copy of LCA (I told them that for visa stamping, I need it). But when I reviewd it, I found that the "start date" was after the I-797 approval. That was strange for me because, LCA is the step prior to filing the petition for H1 visa to INS. So, start date has to be before the approval date on my I-797. That means, I doubt, that my company did not get LCA approved before filing my H1 petition. I questioned my HR manager and he told me that don't worry about it. LCA date doesn't matter as you already have approval. He also mentioned that my case was "Change of Status" from F-1 to H1-B visa. So, it was different.

But I am still not satisfied because, if LCA and approval date on I-797 are not matching, it might create problem for me when I go for interview of visa stamping. I guess, my company obtained LCA for me after my whole H1 approval, just becasue I asked for it. Because the start date was the date before 2 days when I asked for it to my manager. That is strange.

Can anybody explain me what might have been the situation ? Before questionaing to my manager again about this, I am gathering some information. (I also heard that change of status is I-539 form. Maybe, that's why LCA procedure was not involved in my case...). Please advise.

Thanks
