Hi:
my H1-B is expiring 10/2005. My employer will start the labor certification process soon (probably 7/2004). I understand that 365 days after the LC filing date, I can file for an extension of my H1 for a 7th year.
Now here is my problem. My company is in the midst of getting it's IT department outsourced to another company. If my job gets transfered to another company is my LC still valid or does the new company need to file a new LC? If yes what are my options if the transfer will take place after 10/2004 which would leave enough time for an H1 extension?
