I would appreciate if somebody explains me what happens with the file for LC under RIR (just before March 28). And why my lawyer advises me to wait with the PERM for a few moths? I filed for EB3 category in New York. Is there any estimate how long does it take to get LC in this case? And - what confuses me the most - what does the retrogression for EB3 means and how it may affect me? Thanks.

perm is untested - don't know whether it will work well for you or not. plus if u r from india, china or mainland phillipines you face EB-3 retrogression (do a google search if u dont know what it is or go to www.murthy.com).

I saw that you filed an RIR case before 3/28/05. Just wanted to see if you have received a case number yet. My employer said they have filed an RIR for me on 3/15/05 but insisted that a case number is not yet available. I am suspicious but don't know how to act. Thanks.
