LC Sub after getting approved LC

Hello,

I got my LC approved few days back. It is under EB-2 with March, 2005 priority date.

My question is that, if my employer has a approved LC for substitution with an earlier priority date, can I use it? Will it be beneficial to me?

Any insights will be helpful.
