Dear experts.

a question regarding prevailing wage at labor certification stage.

my hourly salary is close to the prevailing wage at hourly rate. however, the annul prevailing wage was apparently calculated based on 40 hours/week. yet my institute requires only 35 hours/week for a full-time position. consequent, there is discrepancy between my salary and prevailing wage (annual amount).

is it a problem? and how to fix it if it is.

Both, # of hours & Salary (per hour or annual) are part of LC application.

You should be allright.
 
My employer was asked to repost the position due to different salary information.

since in the newspaper ad that previously published didn't include the salary information. Do "reposting" refers to internal posting only (inside the institute)?

Someone said that wage info is not supposed to appear in newspaper ad. is this correct?

It depends on state SESA/DOL, your employer and attorney. But 2 weeks of posting is necessary.

What is the difference between experience for Job offered and experience in related occupation (Item 14 on ETA 750-A)?

what are they? do they have to be the same?

please help

Occupation where the experience was gained related with job offered. You CAN NOT say that I was performing the duties of Attorney as Male nurse in the Shop Floor of Sugarcane Farm.

OK with due respect to chief:

There are couple of columns on that form under point 14. Let us address one by one:

Let job offered be: Attorney
And you worked as Attorney for 2 years. So under job offered you will be put 2 years. Now your immigration lawyer is assur ESQ and you explained that SOMEHOW prove that 1 year I was performing duty of attorney as male nurse (arguing with doctors and patients). Due to my art I was transferred to Shop Floor of Sugarcane Farm where I was still holding DESINATION of male nurse but arguing over issues and I have experience letter from assur chief himself. Then, in that case, you may like to write this piece under related occupation part. However INS has to agree too. :)

Say you are a DBA who is also DB Developer. You are offered a DB Developer's position then you can show your experience of DBA as a related occupation field. Still SESA/DOL has to agree too on this issue else RFE maybe generated.
