I ( company Attorney) have filed LC in NY in Feb 2002. As i hear , Apr'01 is not going to move till end of this year and then my turn will come probably in 2004 ( or earlier, does anybody think ?). My H1 6 years is upto Oct 2005. Can anyone advise and help me take decision, do i need to worry enough and apply for Canada green card as an alternative ? Has anyone had experience in similar cases regarding LC. Given the new law of filing I-485 and I-140 simultaneaously, does that help in my situation , so I can postpone to apply for Canada ? I want to apply for canada only as last resort, after loosing all hopes and also dont want in a situation where i have to go back to home country for some time as i have growing kids.
