LC experience

This question might have come up before and I may have missed the answer...But if anybody knows the answer I would appreciate their feedback. If someone gains experience with the current employer, can it be used for purposes of the LC if the job stated on the application is not the current job but one that in fact requires experience.
To give an example, let's say I'm an Applications Analyst I and the LC is for Applications Analyst II, will I be able to use the AA-I experience in this case? Thanks for the help!

my understanding is that it is very hard but still doable under certain circumstances to convince the labor department using your experience with your petitioning employer. Some previous threads talked about it.

I am in diffrent situation. I work in R&D area at current employer place and current employer applied LC for me. Before taking full time position, I worked as contactor in R & D dept at current employer place around one year and I took several breaks in that time. at that time my previous employer used to put me on diffrent projects at various clients places.

now my question is, is it possible to project my R & D experience.
your response will be appreciated.

LC - EB2/EB3 Confusion

My labor was filed under RIR in the CT SESA recently.

I did not see any mention of either of these categories. Where does the EB2/EB3 category come into picture during labor?.

Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

Although the filing is not categorized as an EB-2 or an EB-3 until the I-140 stage, the experience requirements set up in the LC will determine the category.

VCB : A collegue of mine had worked in current company as a contractor, and had added his contractor experience in his LC(green card sponsored by current company), and his LC got approved without any problems.
So, I would assume yours would work also. Just dont list this employer's name in that experiece, but rather when they ask the experience letter then give this experience.
