LC EB3 approved, but ?

Hi All

I got my LC EB3 approved recently and applying for I140. I'm a non-indian/chinese/mexico/phillipines citizen.

I am just thinking if I should reapply for PERM EB2 to save years of wait in I485.

1. My company might allow that. But, do you think this is a good idea and will save time? What is the risk?

2. One question about priority date on visa number. How is this PD determined? Is it from the LC application date or .... ?
