LC ( EB catagory query)

My company have place me in EB3 catagory . i have 9 years total experience 5 years in mechanical induatry exp and 4 years in software . they claim that its company policy and all exployees are placed in EB3.
1. how do i convince for EB2.
2. which state is faster for LC right now.
3. in case if i apply in EB3 now and go to I485 phase after say 2 year , won't the priority dates change and there might be lot of backlogs and EB3 processing may be delayed.

1. Don't convience, it's not worth it.
Because eb2 has more REF chance than eb3

3. if your labor done in RIR it might be done in 6 months- 1years then you can file i-140 and i-485 file to geather. so don't worry too much about eb catagory. (it always good to have eb2 but if you can not get it doesn't make lots of difference)

I won't argue with company in this economy.
