My LC approved; I-140 approved; H1-B approved. When can I file I-485?

I ave been working here almost 10 years. I will not be able to file I-485 for another 5+ years.

New comers (those who came last 6 or 7 months ago) were able to file I-485 and what about folks who stuck in backlog labor or recently certified ones? It's after all in-justice from US government for of us MINORITY people.

Bottom line is we all have to wait for another 5+ years for priority date which means I would be spending 15 years to get a green card.

ANYBODY LISTENING???

What is the point for you to stay here then?? 15 years for a GC?
I already been here 5 and if I didn't get my GC by the end of next year 2008, I am leaving back home for good.

Obvious: File 485 in Sep

Now that your 140 is approved, and it is EB2 I would suggest that you take a look at Sep Bulletin. With your EB2 PD, you should be able to file 485 in Sep.

Good luck!
