Do you think these latest massive layoffs will affect how they adjudicate employment based GCs?

My coworker got an RFE this Monday. Among other things it asked for the letter from the company stating employment prospects.

He said the list included w-2s, last 2 months paystabs, the letter stating employment prospects. I am worried I\'ll end up getting RFE soon as well since we have similar positions and he filed only 20 days before me (November).
 
RFE is standard

Hi Guys,

Usually this type of RFE asking for employment letter and W-2, paystubs is normal.

The problem is that bobody can determine our employment prospects with certainty...at least not our HRD
