Hello everyone

I was a silent visitor to this site. I would like to thank you all and RS Khanna for all the help. I would like to share my experience, Because I know how everyone feels when their applciation is pending for approval.

I never use to goonline to check my status. I always use to visit this site to check and rupnet.com to see where I stand and one date when I saw that some of them got approved after my filing dates. I just went online and checked and to my surprise I got approved four days ago. I was shocked becuase I knew i will be laidoff by end of the month and got approved just before a week. things happened so fast I couldnt believe. Its a miracle

got approved on 18th apr
checked status on 21st apr
got letter on 25th apr
got stamping on 28th apr
was laidoff on 30th apr

RD12 dec 2001
FP 20 jun 2002
AP 16 apr 2003
Stamp 28 apr 2003
My questions

1. i was given severence when i was laidoff
2. i applied for unemployment and came to know after applying that if i get severence i am not eligible for claim. Is there a problem
3. i am getting offers but below what i was drawing 90k
4. can i work for any pay
5. interestingly when i went to unemployment office. Officer who looked at my qualifications suggested my that i can managerial positions. is there a problem.

Its all happend by the grace of sai baba
I dont know but you should believe in your instincts
and god things would chage so fast -- Thats what I believe Miracle do happen.

If say as part of severance package you were paid 2 months of salary, then legally you are on their payroll until that time. So you would be eligible to claim UI after that

Once you got the approval no problem you can work any pay.
