Layoff and H1 transfer - Should I go for premium??

I got laid of last Monday (1/31). The company sent my H1-B withdrawl petition on wednesday. In the mean time I have found another company which is ready to transfer my H1-B.

The question I have is that, since my H1B withdrawl letter/petition has already been sent to INS/USCIS/BCIS, should I go for premium processing for my H1-B transfer with this new company.

I am concerned that if the withdrawl application gets processed first then I may be considered out of status and and my H1-transfer may not go thru.

Should I go for premium?

Thanks in advance.

yep you should. i will be in the same boat by end of feb.

you want to make sure you win the time race. all you need is an inexperienced reviewer who might see you are off by 2 days and to call your transfer off.

def go for $1k option
