Layoff after 180 days

My wife is the primary applicant and our dates are
RD 07/17
no RFE so far, AP pending.
She might be layed off very soon from her company and we are epecting a baby in Sept. My question,
1. should she find another job immediately?
2. She is not in a position to job hunt at the moment, so what are her other options for 485 approval.
Please reply with suggestions.
 
If RFE, need employment offer

If she is layed off and INS issues an RFE.. an offer letter of employment may be required. She does not have to be working but she would need an offer letter. If all goes well without an RFE, you should not have problems.

I guess you can ask her company for leave of absence or maternity leave till the time you get your GC(which should be pretty soon)...

        Just sit back and relax, crossed 180 days.By the time you get approval, Your wife should have an offer Letter from other company.
Just catch any desi company.

If your wife is pregnant, her company was not supposed to laid off her, so talk to them first and make sure they are gonna help her with the RFE letter or sue them!!!!!!!

Don\'t worry, it is no good to the coming baby, poor little thing.
