Lay off - before 180 days

My I-140 approved. There is RIF (Lay offs) this month-end. Applied I-485 in June. Assume lay-off happens and I-485 approved before 180 days. Company doesn't revoke I-140.

1. What happens if I already working for a same/similar position?
2. What happens if I am still looking for a job?
