I am currently on H4 visa.My H1 visa is in process right now.I will start working once my H1 approval comes through.I want to know in the period before my approval comes through can I go to the work place , get trained for the job etc ,I will not be paid( since I am not an employee yet )only get trained... is that legally allowed?
What are the documents , letters that i need to get from my employer to show that I was in training in the period before the H1 approval comes through.
I want to ensure that I am acting within the legal framework when i am undertaking any training etc before the H1 approval is through
