Lawyer wanted to inform INS about my Job change!!!

I have applied I-485 in Dec 2001 and moved to a new company in Aug, 2002. Now I want to renew my EAD and AP. My lawyer wanted to send a letter to INS about my job change (by showing old job description and new job description are same) along with my EAD and AP applications. Is it ok? Or am I going to get an RFE because of this letter?

I am in tense. Your comments are mostly appreciated.

ok, these are my thoughts (not sure how far they are correct).

If we didn't inform INS about job change then INS may approve my case like others (I may get RFE but chances are 10%)

If I inform INS about the JOB change, then INS may ask for additional info etc.

other concern is INS may raise RFE for EAD renewal

10 % ?? ? (it's got to be 90%)

it's taking about 18 months to adjust most of the aos cases.
so ins wants to have latest information when it's time to adjust those old cases. the chances of getting rfe are very high

i think it's better to tell INS about your job change, you have AC21 to protect you in case of job change.

Why do you have to inform?

INS that you had changed job? Its not mandatory. One can submit all papers indicating similarity of jobs if asked by INS.
