Lawyer scare me away from PERM

LAWYER: I have heard about PERM, and we can convert your case, IF it is in your interest, but it may not be. PERM would be the fastest way to do a labor cert, with instant fax back approval, but they will not allow special requirements, and would require much more extensive recruitment than is now the case. So it looks to me like people will get a very fast DENIAL (!!). Speed is great, but an approval it what we are doing this for.


I need your guys' comments.

As for me that lawer is right.
PERM is really designed to give a fast denial rather than approval.

Assuming the case is strong, why should one get a 'quick denial' (see above posts)

What do you mean strong? In top 10% or 40% tier? How to justify?

If PERM is for "strong" cases, then normal cases should get around it?

Then the lawyer is not over-reacting. Because most cases are normal ones, I￾@guess.

PERM is complicated . we can't speculate about it's pros and cons unless it is implemented.
