I am planning to apply for citizenship soon and was wondering what is the best route to go. Should I go with a lawyer for citizenship purposes or not ? What are the pros and cons ? It looks like a relatively simple form to fill and send.
Any opinions would be appreciated.

If you haven't had any problems with the law, met all the residency and continious residency requirements apply on your own.

Lawyer or not.. what are the majority doing ?

Any other opinions on this ? What do majority of the people do ? I think this is a concern in most new applicants minds - so I would appreciate all the responses I can get.. so we ( the new applicants ) know what the majority of people are doing ?

Hello

I applied for my citizenship without a lawyer. N400 Is easy to file,And I agree with what bashar said. Just read here often you will learn alot, i think more then the officer him self when you have your Interview

I wish you the best.

i applied the citizenship by myself. I have not been having any issues with laws besides of 3 traffic tickets in past 13 yrs living in US.

unless you have criminal records (you know yourself the best), you could fill out your applications by yourself.

blister1889,
I applied myself, and I had no idea about the existance of this forum. All your questions will be answered on this forum as detailed as possible. If you're still not satisfied you can always hire a lawer.
