Folks,
I am looking for a new Lawyer for my GC application.
Does any body have any references for good lawyers?.
I have contacted the firm of Sheela Murthy. Does anybody have any experience of GC with Sheela murthy firm? Any good or bad experiences?

They are charging me $2000 for handling I-485s. I have already applied I-140 and I485, but need to change my lawyer....
 
Nilu:- were you on H1 when you applied for I-140, 485?

jambalakadi1:- Based on the PMs we exchanged, I was supposed to contact you but got stuck in some other stuff, but I would communicate with you in a day or two, in the mean time do you happen to know whether do I need to apply for H1 for my wife who already is working on EAD (based on my EB3 GC application) in order to file for her I-140, I-485 applications or I can directly file for I-140, I-485 as she is already on EAD (previously H4)? Also, can I file for I-140, I-485 just through lawyer or do I need to have agency (employer) to file her GC application.
