My lawyer changed his address in November. I called the NCSC to try to verify that they have the correct address. They could not tell me anything except for the stupid case status shown online, which happens to be wrong in my case anyways.

Useless sons of bitches!!

Basically the whole call was a waiste of my time.

How can one be sure that they have the correct lawyer's address on file?

nothing can be done

My lawyers address has been screwed up since my 485 was first submitted and the lawyer has been unsuccessful in getting it corrected.

w8nc,
At least I'm not alone. But I continue to be worried and curious.

Have the correspondences to your lawyer been getting sent to him successfully? Does the USPS forward them to his new address?

Two significant mailings were not delivered, the 485 receipt and an RFE. The 485 receipt was returned to CIS, never to be seen again. When the RFE was returned to CIS, they mailed it directly to me.

The lawyer never changed his address. CIS just can't seem to enter it correctly.

Holy Crap!! Now I'm extra worried, since I have also changed my address a while back.

The whle time I've been hoping the lawyer's address would sufice as a backup. Now they go and change thier address also.
