It depends on the metrics of your case, my concern wouldn’t be using your passport as much as actually filing a lawsuit in your home country for any reason as this is a form of seeking protection of the government you fleed claiming it can’t protect you. And if a lawsuit was sentenced in your favor then you are giving them solid evidence that the government is actually protecting you, which in itself a good grounds for termination of AsylumIf I have political asylum in the USA may I use my passport to issue a power of attorney for a lawyer to litigate on behalf of me in my country? Might it be a reason for revoking of my asylee status in the USA?
If it is related to a divorce that’s a different story, thats why it depends on the metrics of your case. Seek if there are ways to divorce her from abroad, or better check with an attorney before you do anything. some countries and religions allow registered divorce while being awayedited
https://www.wikihow.com/Divorce-a-Spouse-Who-Lives-Outside-the-USWhat if my wife who lives in my home country decided to divorce me? I don't mind because this is a kind of protection for her as she can't wait for form I-730 approval.
