I got this letter today from USCIS. I’m quiet not understanding the situation what’s going on. I have applied for affirmative asylum in May 2018 and got my EAD on last week. I have never received the interview notice or never been to the interview. Please I need help understanding this

Did you recently apply for and obtain a green card through any other means? Marriage, work, etc?

Take action:

1. Go to you local field office with an infopass appointment - bring the letter, ask them to confirm your status
2. Visit e-verify https://myeverify.uscis.gov/ enter your details and see what the system says
3. submit application for a new green card, submit the USCIS letter as evidence, + indicate you never received green card
4. Call the asylum phone number, have your A-number, check the status of your case
5. After performing the above steps, go to the beach, bring a beer, and relax.
