Edison, I am not latino ..I am working on additional sites that could help our cause. Fo now I can give you key words as I am examining these sites wrt immigration views.

1: LULAC
2: MALDEF
3: LA Raza

Back to LULAC, see the web page and follow the links.

http://www.lulac.org/Links.html
4: The Ford Foundation
5: The Carnegie Corporation
6: The Rockefeller Foundation
7: RAND, Brookings, Cato.
8: The New York Immigration Coalition.
9: catholic and jewish immigration lobbies.

Also I think we need to send to Congress/Senate, especially to the Judiciary commitees and the ones that wrote about 20 immigration bills (a list is available in AILA) without any EB I-485 backlog mention so far. They are back from vacation!

For a selection of "think tanks" I am looking at the following sites for some input.

http://hometown.aol.com/faetius451/imm.html discussion of pro and anti immigration

http://www.politicalindex.com/sect30.htm list of think tanks

http://www.people.virginia.edu/~rjb3v/T-tanks.html explanation of think tanks

Come on. Don't behave like a 4 years old kid.
What make you think a hispanic cannot have an Indian name or a a matter of fact likings/dislikings for another culture/country.
I watch a lot of hindi movies, ofcourse with subtitles.
I have a dictionary converting from spanish to english to hindi, which my friend sent me from Bangalor, which is a city in karnatak, India.
I have spent hours and hours learning hindi. But could not get it thoroughly so left in between.
Reading the post here about Telugu/Tamil, I want to learn this too.
Can someone speaking/writing this language guide me how to learn via school/book/online or tuition.?
I got this name munnabhai02 after seeing a hindi movie since I am a die hard fan of film star Sanjay Dutt in which his name is munnabhai.
If I can be of some help here please let me know without hesitation. I am sometimes rude but I am not a bad guy.

Another one

HACR supports the promotion of Hispanics to higher levels at US corporations and may be willing to get involved in this task.

I am extremely sorry Edison.
I donot know any forums among south/North Americans.
I wish I could help you here.

By the way why do India has a population of 1 billion?
Is your government doing anything to control it.
I heard if the rate goes on with the same pace, India will have almost 2.5 billion by 2007. Is that right?
Just curious.

MALDEF

MALDEF is a good option.

what is the signaficance of ur name "munnabhai02" in spanish or whatever the language u speak since u claim to be a latino?

signaficance????????????????????????????????????????/
Check the spelling. I think you meant SIGNIFICANCE?
Could not follow this quite right.
What do you mean by significance?
What is the significance of the word "frantic" in whatever language you speak, if you claim to be an Indian?

You are trying to be too smart. frantic

Was having lunch when I typed the previous post.
Come on. Don't behave like a 4 years old kid.....
My bad - didn't see your earlier post. Couldn't believe a latino having interest in Indian languages. Have seen a lot of Middle east people watching Indian movies. I am sorry again.

You were so busy having your lunch that you forgot to read all the posts in this thread.
And without reading all the posts you have started jumping too much.
Yes I am a hindi speaking latino.
Can you stop me from becoming one?
If yes then go ahead. After you succeed, we will talk more in details.
