Biometrics clarification
Guys,
Two scenarios:
1. People getting biometrics notice before 485 approval
Finish your biometrics and just wait for your 485 approval. Biometrics doesn't mean that your 485 approval is already done and directly will get a card. Biometrics is nothing but collecting your index finger print, photo and signature which will be used on your green card.
CODE 1 means: 10 finger prints
CODE 2 means: index finger print + Photo + signature
CODE 3 means: CODE 1 + CODE 2
Please remember that even children will get biometrics notice with the
code 2. Once your 485 is approved, then you don't have to go for biometrics again. You should be getting your card in few weeks after your biometrics and 485 approval
2. People getting biometrics notice after 485 approval
Finish your biometrics and you should get a card in few weeks time. Some people got the card in 2weeks after biometrics.
