Latest NSC Posting on AILA website

AILA.org has a new posting titled

"NSC Begins Processing Employment-Based I-485s for Which Visas Are Not Currently Available"

This is a members-only posting & I do not have access.

Can somebody with access find out & post details or ask their lawyers to check into what this is all about.

I read some time ago on immigrationportal.com some time ago that one would be able to file his AOS/485 application even if his/her PD is not current.

Could someone tell me if that provision is currently available or would be available? Any updates ?
 
Its a long way to go before it happens. Immigrationvoice.org is trying to make it happen soon through support from senate amendments. Do visit and support the cause to see this happens.
