Did it happen automatically or anybody changed this?

For example: Page 1 of a mutli-page thread now has the latest replies.

I voted there too, because the way it is now is totally nuts.

If it stays like this, for me this forum will become too much of a hassle to keep visiting here.

It's not Thursday yet, is it???? If it is meant as a April fools joke, IT IS NOT FUNNY OK?
 
I prefer the old way.
maybe it is because I am used to it.

I voted for Oldest post first but I am suprised to find I am in minority.
Suprised because even the 3 other people who posted here
are in agreement with me, yet I find more people prefer the new way ??

Its by design. I think if its possible, the operators of this site can give that as a user option and people can see it the way they prefer. I wonder if anybody knows if that is possible.
