Late registered birth certificate

I registered for birth certificate 2 years ago which is 25 years after the birth. Now that I have to submit birth certificate for GC, can I submit this, Late registered certificate or should I take a non availabilty certificate.

In my opinion, it is not necessary for the birth certificate to be issued in the year of birth only. Its good provided it is issued by the same district/locality/municipal corporation where you were born.

This is just my understanding on the issue, please check with your lawyer to be absolutely certain.
 
From everything I have heard TITU is right... I know a whole bunch of cases where the applicants produced "Birth Certificate" from the municipality offices for the sake of GC.
