Late news of I-485 approval

Just returned to USA after 2.5 months and noticed my approval in mail. Here are my details:

PD: Aug 2000
RD: 12/14/01
ND: 12/26/01
AP/EAD: 01/04/02
FP: 3/26/03 (only 1 FP in 2003 after repeated reminders)
AD: 8/25/03

Approval notice says that I shd go to the local INS office at Peter J. Rodino Federal Bldg, 970 Broad Street, Room # 334, Newark om wednesdays 8.00 pm to 12.00pm.

Question:
1) Do they strictly follow wednesdays schedule. Do they accept any other week days?
2) How do I go to this place by NJ transit. Is it closer to Newark Penn station?

Its a good 1.25 miles from the station.

There is tons of parking around Broad Street there. So its easy to take the car. Its 4-6 $ for the day...

congratulations!

You could probably go some other day, but Wed. is the best cause its by appointment only, and there is no crowd!

You can get by NJ Transit - you might have to take a cab/bus from penn station to the broad street office.....

Congrats on your approval... One question though...I am surprised that at the POE they didnt tell you that you are approved. I thought if you're away and get approved then at the POE you will be stamped I551. May be I am wrong. Can someone please clarify
