LATE for Labor Cert

Hi All,

I am on H-1B and my employer was ready to sponsor
me for a green card, but According to my lawyer
I am too late. Apparently in my job Title (Programmer/Analyst)
the RIR has to be applied within 6 Months of getting
the job. Any suggestions ?
