NSC is still plowing through approvals and RFE's.
Approvals
June 1, July 3, Aug 8, Sept 7, Oct 11, Nov 1
RFE's
June 2, July 0, Aug 5, Sept 4, Oct 8, Nov 1
Cases Worked (Cases Filed/(Approved + (RFE- Approved RFE's)
July 86.4%, Aug 76.8%, Sept 75.5%, Oct 40.9%, Nov 5.6%, Dec 1.5%.
The convention has been that we consider the month to be complete when 75% of cases have been worked. This is only a rule of thumb and I think the 'freeze' and the number of RFE's being generated is likely to mean that this number might be as high as 85% before the month closes out. This means that we would be looking for another 17 new cases to be worked for August, and 14 In Sept before those months are done, but at 4 or 5 cases a week, we are getting close to the end. Hopefully then we will see that level of effort devoted to processing later months and reducing the backlog and processing times.
