Last Updated date question?

Today I see the Last Updated date changed for me from 12/16/2002 to 06/03/2004 and for my wife it changed from 02/10/2003 to 06/03/2004.

Is this is normal or no hope?

As you all see from my signature that I am waiting for long time to get my approval.
Please share if some one got these kind of changes.

it might be good

lately, there are cases where people get approval notice after the LUD changed.

at least it's a positive sign...
 
hard to say..

It is really hard to say. USCIS has this gigantic procedure to approve I-485. There may be many locations in this procedure where they update the date. The good news however is the chances of you and your spouse being approved together are high as the case files are probably moving together.

LUD 05/10/04
AD - 15 days after that.
 
my LUP is 05/17/2004......still nothing no approval........no RFE..but shows same old 1FP recieve msg !!!!!

I have similar thing happend, my I131 (A.P) has last update date as 06/01/04 and on 06/02/04 the again updated as approved. But my wife's case was also showing 6/1/04 as last update date but there is no approval message... dont know why few casses are like this... may be a bug in their processes. But i think you will hear somthing good so be positive
 
Mine and My wife had Last update date of 5/17/2004 for I485, Still status messages shows FP1 Received blah,blah . Still waiting to here good news

I had applied for EAD on 03/22/2004 and I have received my EAD. Yours has probably not gotten approved because there may not be any need because your 485 will get approved. I would say this is a good sign.

only Renewal of EAD is getting processed late..first time EAD process is fast compare to renewal...
 
me too!

We had our (me and my wife) LUP as 3/19/2003.. It then changed to 4/28/2004 and then again changed to 5/10/2004.. (with no status change)

Waiting to hear...unitl now (neary 25 days fater LUP), it is still the same old FP1 message..

Hope to hear something!

A similar thing happened to me. My EAD/AP/VSC last updated date changed from 2 march (it was this date all these days since the beginning) to 26 may and then the next day to 27 may. still i have heard nothing from USCIS.
Here are my details:
I-485/EAD/AP/VSC (Non concurrent/I-140 approved Jan 2004)
RD: 24 Feb 2004
ND: 27 Feb 2004
Reaching my 100 day mark in 2 days

is totally wrong. Look at my case. Mine is a first time EAD/AP. I reached almost 100 days since there is no sign of light for me
 
Last update change for self and derivative for I-485, on 5-5-05 and 5-5-06 no approval yet.
Then kept on changing for EAD filed at MSC i.e electronically ended up with a repeat finger print notice. With undeliverable mail. The address was correct.

Later enquired about Ap filed 11-03 and they updated on 6-1-04 .
 
my case is very similar to your Explorer19.

I-140 approved Feb 2.

485/EAD/AP ND 03/05/04 at VSC


on 06/01/04 date has been updated on AP/EAD cases, no status change so far...

A friend of mine with very close dates to mine just got an RFE af on his AP...

I keep my fingers crossed... approaching my 90 days period... tomorrow :) GL all.

Hi Explorer19, I don't know the details of his RFE yet (still somewhere in the mail)....

In the mean time I got a surprise to see an RFE generated today 06/08/04 for all my EAD/AP cases (my wife, son, and myself)... No details yet... Will keep you guys updated...
