Last Update Date for I-140

I received my EAD and AP approvals in March 2004. Online status shows a date change for all my petitions EAD/AP/140 on 8/27/2004. For 485 it shows they sent some document on Sept 1st, 2004. What does the LUD for a I-140 petition mean ? Just that somebody is working on it ? or something else ?

Now they have a policy to send RFEs for 140 and 485 together so it may be an RFE on 140 and 485 both.

However LUD change of EAD/AP confuses me :confused: :confused:

This sweeping update may not mean much then.

I-140 LUD change

I am not sure what it means.
In last 4 months, mine got updated three times, but nothing happened.
First LUD change was in Apr 2004, then on 07/28/2004 and then on 08/30/2004.

EAD AP approved twice.
 
This is what I see for my 485 receipt number SRC04107*****

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On September 1, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

It could be just wishful thinking on my part, but, I feel it is too much of a coincidence that EAD and AP dates were changed even though they were already approved and the 140 date was also changed and then the message was changed for 485. Well, please comment ....

What is ur ND for 140/485? It looks like a 2004 case if i am not mistaken.To be optimistic, the change in the 485 message could be a finger print notice. maybe they took up ur case for concurrent processing...i could be wrong. this is my 2 cents...good luck :eek:
 
FP notice

we got our first finger print notice today but no change in the case status like yours. Not sure what to make out of it. No change in the I140 message either. So, I think your change in 485 message is most probably a FP notice too...Good Luck.
Just wanted to let you know this since we are around the same date range.
