Last Update Date Changed

Hello Everyone,
I have a question I have filed 140, 485 with EAD and AP Concurrently, Rd: 11/17 and Nd: 11/22 . The last update has changed to 12/24 before it was 11/24 for all but the Current Status hasn't changed does this mean anything.

Mine is a very similar case. RD is Nov 17 and ND is Nov 22 and all the LUDs were changed to 12/24 from 11/24.

No FP notice yet.
 
My receipt date was Sept 1, 2004. I received my FP notice about a month later and I showed up for my FP in early December.

My LUD changed on 12/30 and again today 1/03. The status itself hasn't changed. No changes on my I-140 LUD. I think it's weird that my 485 status has updated twice in two days.

EB-3 not affected by retrogression.

My I-140 which had never showed a LUD change has now changed to reflect today's date as well.

LC Approved: 09/2004
I-140/485 Rd: 10/27/2004
I-140/485 Nd: 11/02/2004
FP Nd: 12/01/2004
Early FP done: 11/20/2004
LUD on 1485: 11/25: Finger prints received.

I140 priority date is somewhere in year 2000 or 2001 (claiming old priority date)

I started a new tracker for November, just so that it is more organized.

Hi Sunnycal
Could you please explain what claiming old priority date means? Is it possible to use an older LC priority date even if the current 140/485 application is based on a different LC?

Yes. It is possible to recapture your old priority date. I had a previous LC that was approved, even I-140 was approved but then the company shut down. I talked to my lawyer about my old I-140 approval and they said that they could capture the old priority date.

This will only matter and be helpful if EB2 category I-485 flilng dates backlog. That probably won't happen, but since I had it we tried to claim the old date while filing concurrently.
