Last Update Date Changed

Just as things were looking hopeless, my Last Update Date changed today. This of course, does not mean anything - can anyone prove me wrong? What is your experience on the correlation between last update date and approvals?

My case specifics:
EB2 Semi Concurrent
I140 WAC03218***** - RD 7/23/03 - Frustrating because the processing date is stuck at 7/18 for long time. It was at 7/18 last August after which it regressed 3 months and is back at 7/18 for last 3 months.

I485 WAC03239***** - RD 8/20/03
FP Done on 4/19/04.

I140 - RD 9/18/03

I485 - RD 5/15/04

FP Done on 6/20/04.

Today it said lastupdated date for 140 is today.But no other message which say whether it is approved or rfe.
