Hi,
I took citizenship oath from the Campbell Heritage Theater(San Jose USCIS office) two days back.
My Last Name was printed first on Naturalization Certificate N-550 followed by my first name.
N-550 is supposed to print "First name" first followed by Last Name. I did not notice this reverse printing during the Oath.
I have not applied for US Passport yet.
Without filing N-565 is there a way get the Naturalization certificate N-550 corrected.
Thanks in advance for your help

You should quickly make an INFOPASS appointment or maybe even try a walk-in appointment at the San Jose USCIS office. As I remember, if you contact them quickly after the oath, they may be able to issue you a corrected replacement NC without having to file N-565.

Thank you Baikal.
Can the office correct on the same infopass appointment day.
For filing N-565, do I need to send the original certificate of N-550 or just the copy of the N-550 is fine.
