Last name and petioner name incorrect

Hi All,

Thanks in advance for the info. My H1b extension was approved this week, albeit with some errors with regards to my name and petioner\'s name. There is a typo in the employer\'s name and my last name has got LNU attached to it. How does one correct it , if any is required ? Or can it be passed of as a insignificant type error.

I was in a similar situation

I got my H1-B transfer approval with misspelled company name. I checked with my attorney and he doesent seem to think it is a big deal. I went back to my home country and got the new company H1-B stamp on my passport. The mistake got carried over to the visa stamp on my passport aswell. I came back to the US no problems, ofcourse now my I94 has the misspelled company name too. Nobody seems to think it is a big deal.

I dont think I am going to get it corrected. Check with your attorney. If you want to get it corrected do so rightaway, otherwise the mistakes might pass on to your visa stamp and also your I94.
