Last minute need to reschedule immigrant visa interview at Delhi.

My parents are supposed to attend interview in delhi in 2 days. They live far from Delhi and the whole transport system is shut down due to heavy rains.

I just read about horror stories of people 'rescheduled' interview for whatever reasons. Can anyone comment if it is worth asking my parents to risk the floods and travel by road for interview. Please note, it is not matter of convinience or discomfort... the roads are simply washed out.

Send email or call embassy then they should help to reschedule. It is difficult that elderly parents to travel in such weather.
