Last Day For I-485 Concurrent Filing...

Hi,

Is it true that the concept of I-485 concurrent filing is open until 9/30th and after that concurrent filing is no longer an option?

No such deadline in effect for concurrent filing. Rumor, I guess.

I am sure that no such rule in effect. I taked to my lawer last friday about this filing, he should have mentioned about this new rule then. Also, you will see this message with a big geading at the home page of "www.immigration.com" if this rule take place.

It's rumor.

And the reason of the rumor was because concurent filing ruling came with 2 months of comment time from july 31st.

So technically if they overwhelmed with negative comment (just like 6 months visitor visa rule) it might be possible they might think about it. but I don't think they will discontinue concurrent filing.
