1) is it compulsory to land in canada for the first time with family?
2) can i go alone from uk to canada for completing the entry procedure?
3) If i go to canada with or without my family then whats the minimum/maximum time i have to stay in canada for completing the procedure?
4) it will be ok if i go to canada just make the entry and then come back with or without family withing few days and then go after march 2006?

1. No, only that the principal applicant has to land first, the family within the validity of their COPR.
2. See 1 above.
3. You can leave 5 minutes after you are "landed" if you want, as long as you can meet the 2/5 year residency rule. If you are an Indian national you will have to make arrangement to have your PR card mailed to a friend in Canada and have it forwarded to you in England. You will not be allowed to return to Canada on a commercial flight without a PR card or a facilitation visa.
4. NOTE your family will have to "land" prior to the expiry of the COPR, which is usually 1 year from the date of the medical.
5. Also be aware that is illegal to mail or courier passport in or out of India and that you have to submit your families passports along with yours to get your COPR.
