Landing this weekend...info reqd pl

Hello,
I am planning to land through the Port Huron POE on Saturday and I am planning to go to Canada for just 2 days and come back on the Tuesday. I am driving by a 2 way rental car and will come back on Tuesday after H1B
revalidation in Toronto. Will that a be a problem with the immigration officers? I plan to carry a lap top and possibly a digital camera with me. Will I be able to bring those two back with me to the US after declaring in the goods with
me now? Also, I made a cashier's cheque on my name for US 7k and have a bank letter showing more funds. Will that be sufficient? Appreciate any one who could answer my questions. I will post my experiences as soon as I come back.

We also landed using a rental car ( Detroit-Windsor) tunnel. Carried my laptop & camera and declared them as goods carrying. Listed goods to follow. We carried US$8k cashiers check. and also carried bank statements(though were never asked by the immigration officer). While coming back to US, the only items we were asked to declare was alcohol & tobacco & since we didnt have either, we didnt declare anything even though we carried our laptops back. We were asked why we were using a rental car while entering the US though. Even the Canadian customs guy said that the main thing they are concerned about is the car and other items including jewels as long as its listed they are not very particular.
