Landing Question - Principal Lands Alone, Dependent joins after having baby ?

I have few more questions. Please helpppppp


I am a chinese citizen working in US on H1. I had applied for the canadian PR and now received the Passport Request.
However we are expecing baby.

Questions those need your expert help

1. Is there any way I can ask consulate to hold passport request till baby is born so that baby can also be included in application.

2. Being a principal applicant, is it acceptable that I alone land BEFORE BABY is BORN and my wife(dependent) lands AFTER BABY is BORN.

3. I plan to go there over weekend and comeback to US. Since SIN offices are open weekdays only, Is it possible to apply for SIN from US via mail/fax.
