Landing in Vancouver - Suggestions please...

We received our landing papers last week.
I am planning to land in Vancouver during September long weekend by rental car. Can I go during weekends or should it be only during week days.

Will land in the morning and return on the same day. Is it oK?

I do not have any friends in Canada. Can I give my address in US for mailing the PR card? Will it be questioned?

Please guide me!

you can land anytime you want

1) Just take I-5 North all the way to peace arch border

2) yes! you can come back the same day

3) The PR cards will be "only" posted to a canadian address

Could you please tell me if I need to apply for my SIN card on the same day or can I apply for it after I come back to US.

If you are not living /working in canada , no need to apply SIN card. It is like SSN , you could do it later
 
1. Do we need any appointment to be done for landing?
2. Is there any form available online for "good to follow list"?

Please guide me - Landing Procedure in Vancouver

I live in California. Planning to land in Vancouver during Sep 4th long weekend and complete my PR procedure and return on the same day

Following things I am planning to do.

1. Prepare a document "goods to follow list"
2. Take pictures of the jewellery
3. Will rent a car
4. Cashier's check
5. Take Passport, all related original documents
6. Should we take any passport photographs? If so how many?
7. Will be giving a friend's address in Canada

Could someone let me know if there is anything else that I need take.
