I just got my Canadian PR. I am curently on H1 and have a Valid I-94 (I797 and all) but a visa is not stamped on my passport. Can I reenter US with just the Valid I-94 or will I need to get it stamped on my passport from Toronto ?
I guess the right anwser is that if you had non-immigration visa stamped on your passport before, you can reenter US with valid I-94. But if you don't have non-immigration visa stamped, there is no visa to revalidate at all, hence you can't auto-revalidate. The blur issue is, how about visa stamp type is different from current status, say, F1 stamp but now with H1B I-94. Anybody has idea?
I am new to this forum and request an opinion form the experts around here.
I have been asked to submit additional documents for the canadian PR visa process. I had all the other documents except for the certificate of good conduct from the FBI. I have applied for the certificate from FBI.
My question to you guys is "Should I send the documents that I have right now and send the FBI certificate when I receive it or Should I wait till I receive the FBI certificate and then send all the documents at once?"
Please advise.
Any help/info on this matter will be deeply appreciated.
One of my friends recently reentered US without getting his visa stamped. However, I am double checking everywhere to confirm that this will work. I personally have a B2 visa on my passport with all the valid documents, I-94 etc. I found this link:
